DO NOT GO WHEN IT'S RAINING! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I'm a regular here, love it but I had a bad experience . for the first time in Sept 2025 I went when it rained. this is a garden spa ok, I pre booked so couldn't cancel.
the outdoor pools are open during the rain but it's pretty rough, practically you can't read or drink stuff without water going in your drinks, it isn't relaxing. loads of people brought umbrellas into the outdoor jacuzzis - do you want to be in an outdoor jacuzzi holding a brolly? They also didn't have enough umbrellas. all around the outdoor pools was loads of empty glasses and rubbish because the staff didn't want to come out from under from the bar to collect glasses in the rain. there are big umbrellas with hooks for you to hang your robe outside but it doesn't stop the wind getting them wet, and there's no way to tell your robe from anyone else's.When you walk from each outdoor area to another, your robe gets soaking wet and cold. I used a raimmac over mines.
Naturally most people huddled into the small indoor pool and small saunas, which was far too small for the number of people. If you've been here, the robe hooks on the wall are arranged in little groups of maybe 9 hooks, arranged in three levels of thee hooks. no one uses the hooks because who wants their damp robe hanging underneath someone else's , touching? very unhygienic , and you can't tell your robe from.anothet. so normally people put their stuff on the loungers. but as everyone was coming inside, a member of staff, an old lady, collected up people's robes and stuff from the loungers and hung them up. it meant no one knew where their stuff was it was all wet and unhygienic .
the WiFi and Internet signal also out most of the time I was there. this hasn't been a issue before so I think it's the rain.
I absolutely do not recommend coming if it rains. they really need to give a discount for rainy times, because it's basically unusable even better , they should let you rebook for a sunny day. it's fine in cold weather, I've been in winter, but it's just not adapted for rain.
to make it better in the rain, they should provide ponchos to go over the robes and more umbrellas, clear awnings over the pools for shelter outdoors , give the staff umbrellas so they will collect glasses around the pools, and they definately need to sort out the robe hook situation, by having a single layer of robe hooks decently spaced out.
they also reserve the right to close the outdoor area depending on the weather meaning you might turn up and half the stuff...

Wow can’t fault the experience!
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the lovely staff, checked in and shown round.
In the morning garden experience you can get a free tea/coffee and juice, along with pastries and fruit and yogurt. In addition to this you get to book a brunch which is also included in the price.
The spa itself well exceeded both of our expectations! It was amazing. I loved how it was wasn’t to busy atall so the experience felt very special because you weren’t over crowded.
All in all I would rate this 5* and be SURE to...
Read moreWe had a lovely evening at Carden Park with a Twilight spa package. The meal was tasty, although options were limited with a food allergy.
The spa itself was very relaxing with plenty of choice of different saunas, steam rooms, pools, and areas to enjoy.
The main downside was the cost of the drinks, which were pretty extortionate. Two cocktails came to over £38 - and they were nice, but somewhat basic. For that price I'd definitely expect the passionfruit martini to include some fresh passionfruit!
We were also supposed to get a free glass of bubbly on arrival, which we never received. A bit disappointing when the drinks are...
