Brilliant Show Right On the Doorstep. Reasonable entry costs. Very wide variety of displays, from Dogs & Hawks to Flying Motorcylcles. Wide Range of Food Outlets. Good use of Scaffold Boards giving a lot more seating than the usual few dozen straw bales. Well spaced pathways between the pitches making it less of the usual Rugby scrum where the organisers are more intend on Money Making Pitches as opposed to Customer Comfort & Ease of Movement. My only gripe is regarding the Sheep Pens. They are organised in such a way that you cannot have Traffic Flow. People have to walk across the width of the marquee to the end of 3 or 4 pens only to have to turn back on themselves. It would be preferential to have the walkways running the length of the marquee, even using a one way system. That said, it was a brilliant show that lasted to the end. All too often at Sunday Shows pitches are being closed & packed-up in mid afternoon. Visited the show on the Saturday. Weather was good and the ground was dry. Parking was plentiful and well stewarded and signs to the showground made finding it easy. We went with our mother in law and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the show as there was something for everyone. The food hall was a glory of local and specialist foods with plenty of tasters on offer. The show was packed with things to do and see and everything seemed to run very smoothly from a spectators perspective. Me and my partner went to car boot after 1pm today & there wasn't anything really fascinating. I'm assuming everything good went early lol but it wasn't too bad, eirther. I would suggest the security or the others who are volunteering there should check mainly elder people's mobility scooters as there was a woman who had a dog on site and was laughing and bragging about having her dog onsite to a stall holder when this isn't allowed as stated on your site.
