Leighton Buzzard Golf Club — Local services in Heath and Reach

The fact I am writing this review and smiling despite scoring so badly round Leighton Buzzard probably gives you an idea of how much I enjoyed the course.

This was the last course in Bedfordshire that remained on my unplayed list and boy it didn't disappoint. I found it very hard as several holes are super tight and demand an accurate tee shot. The 17th and 18th are good examples. The condition of the course was fantastic and such a beautiful looking course. Pine tress lining most of the holes with plenty of adulation. Not a great course and certainly not worth the green fee. Bunkers and fairways aren't in good condition. Too many doglegs, an odd start and finish to the front 9 with 1, 8 and 9 converging into the same corner of the course. Of the 80+ courses I've played, it's the last one I'd recommend. Green fee is clearly to put off visitors and members solidify this to. The fact that this inside top 10 in Bedfordshire, but wouldn't make the top 30 in Herts, isnt a good reflect on Bedfordshire golf. I have been here for several events and the food and the facilities are amazing. The place is always spotlessly clean from the toilets to the bars everyone is well kept here. The food here is always amazing and on point, I do not think I have ever had anything negative to say about the food here. The service here is also amazing and the staff provide a high quality service that makes you want to come back again, the staff are also good at guiding you in the right direction.
