The most exquisitely relaxing but stimulating day what a way to end 7 nights in Sussex! We spotted 15 fledgling white storks, 5 aerial circling adult storks, wild pigs wallowing in a stream & piglets separately in another area, wild ponies, 2 hats. A kingfisher, rabbits, plentiful deer, a lone female with her baby nearby, the beaver enclosure, and numerous purple empororer butterflies more females than males. A thoroughly enjoyable tiring day that cost us nothing & we left nothing but footprints. Great to see no rubbish anywhere. Hats off to the landowners for having the courage to leave this legacy and how quickly nature reclaims if. Continue what you're doing don't change a thing & don't add a visitor centre, cafe, toilets, bins etc plenty of places with that - this is an area where nature rules not humans we're there merely to observe. 10 out of 10 for us. Thanks Neil the warden for your help btw! We looked up 😂

I had a lovely time in Knepp, would definitely recommend. The outdoor kitchen was really nice to cook in, got to meet some of the other campers. Got to wake up to the sound of birdsong every morning which was a real treat. Lots of lovely walks to go on, we were treated to the sight of a sow feeding her piglets. Got to see the storks every day and we got to roast marshmallows on the open fire. Facilities lovely and clean, shower perfect and not too busy, toilets in good condition, the shop has some good tasty options to choose from, overall felt very well catered for. Can’t wait to come back

We did an afternoon safari with a Knepp guide who was brilliant and really knowledgeable. The connections between different species are amazing, and how we have altered their habitats is incredibly sad. That said, Knepp is bucking the trend and going wild. We saw buzzards, green woodpeckers, storks, long horned cattle, pigs, red deer butterflies, and the beaver enclosure. Whilst we didn't spot any beavers, we did see what powerhouses they are in terms of being ecosystem engineers. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

We were about 30 minutes from needing to call for a rescue 4 children and 3 adults completely unaware of the mud, bulls and lack of online GPS maps. There should be signage warning of the terrain which started off ok and lead us into very difficult mud with buggies and bicycles at which point it was starting to get dark. Eventually we managed to get through the red route to a point where we could recover the car but during this time the bulls had descended on us and it was a not too fun 10 minutes staying calm and keeping the children calm in the dark surrounded by bulls. I would say to the management of the park that they should make the terrain condition clear and put times on the routes as we were very close to being in a very...
