This is a lovely little beach just beside Cushendun harbour. It is quite a short beach but has lovely sands. If you walk to the end there is a short river and a rocked area with lots of sealife to view. If you travel here in the winter the beach is usually verging on empty which is quite nice as nobody bothers you and you don't have to share them. It also seems a good spot for beach fishing as i have seen a few people...

I accidentally visited this beach when I just took the scenic route on the way. It is a hidden gem. Small and really beautiful beach. I got some great pictures even with my point and shoot camera. Its quite and there is a car park nearby. Take the scenic route to Bally castle and vist Cushendun beach, it's definitely worth it. You can also visit the Cushendun...

This is a lovely beach with golden sand. There are basic toilets in the carpark. The tide does come right in and cover most of the sand. You maybe lucky to see a seal swimming around. There's a play park for the kids at the carpark and some cave's on the other side of the harbour.

Red caves arent spectacular. Neatish. Thats about it. Beach is ok. Nothing spectacular. Town is kinda pretty. Again... not spectacular. It is a peaceful kinda calm spot. The roads in and out are the most fun. Would be great on a motorbike.
