Cushendun Caravan Park — Local services in Ireland

Booking was easy and we received confirmation quickly with details of the barrier code and site rules. Unfortunately on arrival the code we received was incorrect. As it was a Saturday the office was closed but a mobile number was provided but this just rang out and no one returned my call. If it hadn’t been for a very helpful resident we would have had no way to access the site. The cleanliness of the showers was not good and no where on the information we received did it mention the need to pay for the use of the showers. Having booked for 2 nights we left after one. The council need to review how this site is managed and maintained and the wardens need to answer the phone when it dates they are there to help! Received a very warm welcome from the gentleman on site on arrival who gave is all the info and help we needed which was appreciated. A nice site 5 minutes walk from a lovely sandy beach with a shop, pub and tea room. The site offers a few hard standing pitches for caravans/motorhomes with hook up and water. Toilet block was very clean but slightly dated and showers are metered but you get plenty of shower time for the minimal charge and lots of hot water so no problem. The majority of the park is for mobile homes and some glamping pods but it is well laid out and spacious. We enjoyed our time staying here and would stay again if...

The glamping pods are great, great facilities , great little walk down to the beach , very clean, everything you would need for a night away, a bit disappointed with the check out, we tried to leave at 9.20 , nobody there , no drop box for the key, noticed it said you had to organise an early departure so we left and came back at 10, phoned the number provided 20 times between us , no answer , still standing at 10.10 , had to go and leave the key in the pod and text the number to notify them and still didn't hear back, a drop box would be perfect to accommodate everybody for when they...
