Happy Valley — Local services in Ireland

Absolute hole. Used this place for ages as I live in Comber and food wise it's the best in the town. However, over a number of months mistakes were continually made; wrong order being delivered to the house, things missing from orders, cold food being delivered, etc etc. I generally tried to ignore the mistakes and let things go until recently when a mistake was made for about the 6th time in 3 months (we get a delivery once a week). I demanded to speak with a manager on the phone but was told they were too busy and they hung up on me. I was making the point that we had never received any apology or any compensation for the awful service but they did not care one bit. In fact the only person who actually cared was the delivery driver and the takeaway itself seemed happy to distance themselves from the driver, pointing out that none of the mistakes were their fault, but that the fault lay with the driver. This is a takeaway that only gets business because there are no other decent Chinese takeaways in the town. The way they run their business is shocking. I should also point out that the aforementioned delivery driver called to our house in the week following te last mistake to apologise and to encourage us to use the takeaway again. I appreciated this gesture but told him I would not be using the service unless I received a call from someone in charge at the takeaway itself. 3 weeks down the line and I've heard absolutely nothing. Talk about valuing your customers. I could never say anything negative about the standard of the food, but as for the service and the general treatment of paying...

Have got from them for 3 years. Pretty decent for chicken curry and salted chilly chicken. But after them going to the wrong address; the wrong chinese arriving 2hrs later and the owner hanging up on me for asking for a simple refund for the meal that was missing (arrived 30mins after we actually got our late chinese) is very disappointing. In my opinion it would be good customer service to at least offer a refund for the meal that was missing, wasnt asking for much seeing we have ordered from them for 3 years. Its not the money that bothers me its the principle. Sadly wont be ordering from there again. Your loss...

Most strangest Peking sauce tasted like the cheep honey chilli sauce with a splash of Peking thrown in. If people are not aware honey chilli and sweet and sour is usually made of vinegar lots and lots of sugar and robinsons orange and pineapple squash. If you're looking for an authentic Chinese look elsewhere.
