Sandymouth Bay Beach Bude, Cornwall, managed by the National Trust, is an absolute gem and deserves every one of its five stars! From the moment we arrived, the convenience of the car park made access incredibly easy, a huge plus for a beach trip. The facilities are top-notch. The toilets were clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. We visited during the season, and it was reassuring to see the RNLI lifeguards on duty, providing that extra layer of safety for swimmers and families. The beach itself is stunning, with dramatic cliffs and plenty of space to spread out. A real highlight are the two beautiful waterfalls cascading down the cliffs onto the beach, they add a magical touch and make for fantastic photo opportunities! We were delighted to find a lovely cafe on-site, perfect for grabbing a hot drink & a bite to eat after a refreshing walk along the shore. And for those of us with furry friends, it's fantastic that dogs are allowed on the beach, making it a truly inclusive and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day by the sea, a family adventure or a bracing walk with your dog, Sandymouth Bay...

We've been visiting Sandymouth for about 20+ years. The food outlet at the top of the cliff is now open all year 👍 great for walkers. The loos have been upgraded which is a great improvement.

There's amble down to the beach which is a little steep for some but nothing major.

The beach has always been lovely here, July is better than August for tides and do check these. There's lifeguards which is fantastic as three can be rip tides and it's great for surfers, certainly was today 👍

The only problem is the access to the beach from the gravel slope, as there's is now a wide row of rocks which was never there before!

The main beach it tidal and is beautiful, but it appears as if the sea has eroded the sand away exposing the rocks over the last few years. So you'll need good beach shoes, but it's worth the walk and scramble to get to the main beach.

Some lovely coastal walks left or right of the shop, just be mindful of the cows in fields and all will be well.

NT carpark is very good and staff are friendly.

Enjoy some time in this lovely area of North...

Lovely beach, fished it for years. Finished fishing at 5 in the morning so thought it's probably safer to sleep for afew hours in my van before the long drive home. No obvious or offical signs stating that this wasn't aload. I was rudely woken up by some chap in a high viz banging on my window. Who felt it very important to tell me there's no camping. He then proceeded to show me a very small black sign stuck on a window shutter of a shed which said no camping. I hope this individual dosnt work for he national trust as I would expect a far more professional approach. I do understand the concern of people randomly camping everywhere but I would suggest professional signage be installed. After all we pay the national trust eye watering amounts of money to park around the cornish coast. I would strongly recommend that this individual dosnt band on people's windows. Someone in a tired state may take serious offence and not be as pleasant as I was. Other than that....
