Sandymouth Cafe — Restaurant in England

What an incredible find to cap off our trip to Bude! On our last day (April 22, 2025), we had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Sandymouth Beach Cafe. We were so impressed with their extensive and delicious offerings. We indulged in a fantastic vegan breakfast, perfectly fluffy pancakes, and mouth-watering French toast. The coffee was excellent and the juices were a refreshing addition. It's truly brilliant to have such high-quality, diverse, and vegan-friendly options right there at the beach. We also appreciated that the toilet facilities were open (noted they are from April to September!), which is so convenient for a beachside spot. The cafe itself has a lovely atmosphere, and being so close to the beautiful Sandymouth Beach makes it an unbeatable location. If you're in Bude, the Sandymouth Beach Cafe is an absolute must-visit – especially for their amazing food and thoughtful service! We'll be dreaming of that breakfast until our next visit...

My wife and I have just visited Sandymouth beach and cliff top walks.

We frequented the cafe for coffee & cake upon arrival and we had lunch before we left.

Coffee and cakes were lovely. I had Yoghurt topped flapjack & my wife had the GF Caramel Slice.

Our lunches were really tasty. In fact my Southern Fried Chicken Wrap was probably the best wrap I've had in many a year. It was loaded with tasty chicken and salad. It was so good 😋

My wife thouroughly enjoyed her Gluten free Turkey, bacon, Brie & Cranberry roll. She said it was packed with filling. It is not always great for my wife when we're are out and about and wanting a quality bite to eat. The standard of many places when it comes to decent Gluten free food is poor and lacking.

We really enjoyed Sandymouth area and the cafe was well worth visiting. Staff were all super friendly & welcoming.

This was a VERY pleasant surprise at the end of a daunting narrow country road! Met by the friendliest parking attendants from the National Trust. Furnished with good advice and pleasant help. The menu is small BUT has loads of options suitable for all tastes! Great cakes and well brewed coffee, service with a smile and gratitude for good feed back! The bonus is the magnificent beach just a short walk down the slightly steep hill. Two stunning waterfalls and a sandy/rocky beach with stunning rock formations. Definitely a must see!
