Anyone into their long walks or hiking in general with amazing views, then this place is for you here in North Wales. Personally I prefer this area over Snowdon itself. It isn’t a tourist attraction, so the mountains you climb isn’t crowded. As you climb the first section leading up to the first mountain it overlooks a pretty impressive water dam. You’ll be lead round onto the following two mountain peaks with incredible views! Around 600m above sea level, so you can imagine the views once you...

The upper reservoir for "Electric Mountain", this once small lake has been massively enlarged by the construction of a huge dam. The dam is only really visible from above so whilst it's a bit of an eyesore, the designers did their best to make it blend in. Interesting place but not worth a trip...

Nice easy walk up the service road (uphill) to Marchlyn Fach and Mawr Reservoirs. There is a looped walk around the ridges too , footpaths lead further a field too the Glyders are about 3 miles away. Stunning views up top and down bottom. Go check it out 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
