This golf course is a joy to play. The young lad in the pro shop can not do enough to help.
The bar staff and the manager on the other hand need to learn how to treat paying visitors. We have been playing this course once a year for 10 years, sadly to say after the way we were treated we will not be going back. While tee off on the 17 we got told to tee off because they wanted to cut the grass in front of the tee and not to worry about the group in front even though they were in danger of being hit.
While trying to putt out on the 18th we had the so called manger screaming down and the 2 group of three standing watching the last group to finish. about social distancing while ignoring the member/locals who were not adhering to...
Read moreReally great staff, lovely lady sorted our tee time change and booked us into the Seniors AM/AM open. Welcomed on the car park, and again by a great starter on the day. The course layout is interesting especially the holes down alongside the river Dee. The more "inland holes" are very up and down. There are extensive bare patches without turf and the surface of those patches is several millimetres lower than the level of the green surface. Some of the greens are so bad they are virtually unplayable. The rest of the course is not in top notch condition which is forgivable in light of the net drought conditions experienced over the summer. However, the drought does not account for the state of the greens. Despite this they still charge over £40...
