Here are a few items that really can add up quickly on a ā€˜SA Set Up list’: - Mirrors - Canvas - Linen / Bedding - Towels - Rugs Always ensure you factor these items into your set up costs from the get go, adding these onto your ā€˜to buy’ list towards the end of your shopping could easily lead to you going over budget. #parchmentproperties #propertyfyp #servicedaccommodation #airbnbbusiness #airbnbshopping #airbnbsetup #propertyinvesting #shorttermlets #rent2servicedaccommodation

I visited range for the first time last week and my overall experience was okay if not great. They have a good collection of home decor, some have reasonable prices. They do lack some management though. The price tickets are not displayed as they should be..many of the products either has wrong or no prices displayed. It’s difficult to make a decision for a customer when the prices are not accurate or missing. I had to keep looking for a member of staff to ask them to check the prices. I really liked one planter where they has displayed two prices for the same Ā£6.99 & Ā£8.99. When I went to the counter to checkout the price that came up was Ā£15.99. When I told about it the lady at the till said she’ll go and check. I followed her after sometime and she said there is no price displayed. She had cheekily taken out the price tickets before I reached. I showed her the picture that I had taken and she started saying that the product was in the wrong place. Well that’s not my fault, it wasn’t just one product that was in the wrong place. They had so many of them out there. The least they could have done is apologised and honour the price. I have attached the picture for reference.

The Range has a huge selection of homewares, decorating supplies, DIY stuff and a garden centre. The prices are reasonable and the store is clean and easy to navigate. There is also a cafƩ upstairs which my wife and I visited and had a toastie meal deal. The toasties were lovely and the coffee (which is Costa branded) was made well. The cafƩ prices weren't too bad, but the meal deal is definitely the best way to go. The staff are friendly and helpful and even advised that if we took a meal deal the bill would be cheaper than without doing so I noticed that there is a lift to access the upstairs area, but you may need to ask staff to use it. At any rate it's near the customer service desk at the entrance. We'll definitely be going back again at some point when we figure out the next thing we need for the house!

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS VISITING STORES ON THIS SITE WE WILL NOT BE VISITING AGAIN

Brilliant store however they must have been doing a stock take the day we visited so normal shelf filling understandably wouldn't be at its usual level it was quite sparse in some places its a good store and there were long queues for the check out too we parked in a disability bay near the store put the blue badge in the window as required our car is a motability vehicle. We had also visited Matalan too looking for and purchasing birthday presents for my son we spent quite a bit that day. There were long queues for both stores and because of disabilities we had to move the car to get from one store to the other we are no Linford Christie's it takes a lot of effort pain and discomfort to get around on a daily basis. Yesterday I was shocked to receive a parking ticket for Purley Way retail park I have never ever had a parking penalty or any other and i had to look on the internet to see where that was? It turns out this related to our visit on the 15th August 2020 for £40. My husband passed away recently we have all had Covid lockdown affecting everyone I was just trying to make my son's first birthday since losing his dad as nice as possible for him and had no idea that doing so would incur a £40 penalty in fear of the added stress - we have enough to contend with anyway I paid the penalty online having checked the parking company on the internet - the reviews for which were frightening My family and my confidence are shattered as a result of losing my husband I cannot cope with the stress of further charges/further action let alone the £40. The company does not accept verbal appeals. We are shocked and horrified as we had no idea there were time limits of apparently 120 minutes and so sadly as genuine customers we will not be visiting these stores again. I cannot afford the luxury of being ripped off our visiting these stores and using their car park to do so in no way caused these companies any losses so £40 is disproportionate. If there is to be a charge for genuine customers to these stores i would suggest it is a more transparent fair honest and open system of a meter charging pay and display where the cost of the parking is taken off of the bill at the checkout when people spend a certain amount it works in other car parks. I will not hesitate to tell others what has happened to us in the hope that they do not become a victim of this system like we have. Such a shame as the 2 stores on site are stores i would have happily continued to visit if not for...

Shopping at the location today and as I was trying to pay for my Ā£4 purchase my mom handed Ā£5 note. There was an Asian/Chinese lady with bob hair cut on the till that was taken the payment just taking long with payment. While we were waiting there was a lady with her teenage autistic son and a toddler daughter trying to pay. The son was having an episode and throwing things around, as a mom of two boys I knew exactly what that mom was going through! Eveyone was looking at her and no one was helping her. So I went with my 4year old son towards her (my mom was still at the till with my Ā£4 purchase on till and the Asian lady holding rthe Ā£5 note) and I asked her if she needed help. Bear in mind there are at least 8/9 workers around. She almost cried and said that everyone is looking and judging but she can’t help cause her son is autistic. I reassured her and told her it’s ok and I understand what she’s going through, as she finished paying for her shopping, I helped her with her trolly while she was comforting her son. As we are exiting , the same Chinese worker and another male worker run toward us and accusing us of not paying. I was so confused as the 2X crisp and a toothbrush I wanted to buy was still at the till with my mom waiting while she’s holding my Ā£5 note! She left but this other young male worker was telling the other lady that she needs to pay! She was so upset and angry but still showed her receipts and we walked to her car. I helped her and rushed back to the store as my mom was still waiting. They gathered 3/4 staff with the manager around the till. So I asked what is taking so long why my mom is still waiting. They accuse me of giving them Ā£5 fake note. They didn’t have anything that identifies the note as fake. English blond manager lady me told how the head doesn’t look right. ! I explained how I wouldn’t know the difference and if they can explain how it’s fake and she told me again that the head isn’t right! I went back to TKmax where they gave me the Ā£5 note and explained to the manager, he pulled out the machine where they can check if the note is legit under the light and he explained how it was the right note and I am mistaken! It was the most embarrassing and upsetting day at Range and o tried calling back 5x time no one answered. The staff need more training and they need to have more compassion and...

This is a long overdue review (I'm probably one of the world's worst for "I'll do it - tomorrow"!)

My daughter and I decided to check it out on the second day of opening. As evidenced by the phenomenal length of time trying to park (and later trying to leave the car park), a lot of people were doing the same.

The good points: They seemed to have a good range of products at reasonable prices. The staff were really helpful and friendly - couldn't fault any of the retail or other shop floor personnel at all.

The bad points: The upstairs toilet was flooded and therefore closed. I haven't marked them down for that as it was probably out of their control. As I'm sure most of us know, sometimes sh*t just happens! The lift. I've never known one so slow! I think if it was in a race with a stairlift, the stairlift would've won hands down! Service at the restaurant upstairs: Oh dear, where do I start? Queued for over half an hour (and it took an equal length of time before getting our order). None of the staff had any sense of urgency, and took their own sweet time to do whatever it is they're supposed to do. After the person in front was served, did the server turn to us and ask what we wanted? Heck, no! I watched as she turned her back to wipe the counter behind and, oh so slowly, rid it of non-existent debris. She then went into the kitchen (empty-handed) and came back about ten minutes later (still empty-handed), and again did nothing useful. She spent more energy chewing her gum rather than do any work (and, trust me, I'm not exaggerating!). And they ran out of white sugar! Who the heck runs out of sugar in this type of establishment? and they sell it for goodness sake!! You'd think that someone would have thought to go and get some from the store below! Food at the restaurant: Daughter ordered some sort of chicken pastie. It was microwaved! Really?? The bottom of the pastie was either raw or just extremely soggy and anaemic, and the contents were lukewarm. Totally inedible. However, credit where it's due - I had the cream tea, and I have to say that it was one of the best I've ever had. A good size scone, with all the usual "accoutrements". Sad that it was the only positive.

Shame I couldn't rate the store and restaurant separately; I would give the store 5 stars, but the...
