I was surprised that the car park didn't offer the convenience of an 'app' to pay by; so many councils and local authorities do now that it was quite surprising to find that they don't offer the service here. There were two machines, of which only one was working. The machines take cash or credit/debit card, which you can either tap or insert to make your payment. The car park is well laid out. Though I found it quite slippy in places.
There are several reduced access spaces but no spaces for motorhomes or campervans. That said a couple of the spaces were just about big enough to squeeze our motorhome in.
The car park is level nearer the road. There are several bins.
Access to the Malvern Hills and, in particular, to the British Camp is very easy. There are three operate walks, two of which are quite gentle. The main walk-up to the Camp is quite steep but well worth it when you get to the top. Stunning views over three counties.
On a late January Monday afternoon the car park was quite empty, so no problem parking at all. There's a pub and hotel just across the road plus Sally's, a lovely little cafe, which is well worth a visit.

Read moreExpensive as we were only stopping for a snack at the cafe opposite (Excellent BTW). I parked my car in the only free space at the far end of the car park. I immediately walked to the ticket machine where there was a small queue and purchased my ticket. On walking back to my car (no more than 3 minutes after arrival) there was an attendant photographing my car - I politely asked her to stop as I had a ticket in my hand. Having taken a photo of my reg plate she continued to step forward and take a photo of my dashboard. I Explained that by law I had ten minutes to decide whether or not to park on private land. She accused me of being rude. I asked her to delete all the photos as I placed the ticket on my dashboard. I hope she did.
This is really sharp practice on her behalf - and to be honest I wish I had actually been rude to her as it really upset me. Please train your staff on the law regarding purchasing tickets and the rudeness of continuing to take photos when the customer has clearly explained that...
Read moreIf your visiting the malvern hills then this car park is a great place to park. Over road is shop and hotel with bar, food available at pub(price can seem abit high but the hotel is high end and food is excellent) also beer garden with plenty of seating.
Car park is card and cash friendly and reasonable. The hills are accessible from car park and slope access for wheelchairs or electric mobility devices.
20min walk from town centre so can enjoy the hills and shops from same car park.
