Great little beach and you can usually get parked quite easily. Plenty of sand, waves for younger kids to bodyboard, rockpools to explore, etc.
Nice little coffee trailer and there are a couple of shops and bar that are great for a cold beer. Didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food but it looked decent enough.
The one thing that needs sorting out... Toilets. It's 50p a time which is what it is, but it's more 'who carries coins anymore'? It's a real hassle and, with 3 young kids, definitely makes us think twice...
   Read moreOne of North Cornwall's finest beaches. Great for all ages at any time of year. It's a sheltered bay so reasonably child friendly and dogs are allowed out of season. There's rocks to climb with pools to explore on one side and if you walk the cliffs on the other side you'll discover the "Blow hole" in the field which leads to the sea.    Read moreThis Sandy blue flag beach has something for everyone, always a pleasure to visit. The beach cafe serves breakfasts, pizza, good coffees, hires out wetsuits and body boards. You can also easily walk to Padstow Farm shop with lovely selection. Thereâs a lifeguard in the summer and toilets nearby, although Cornwall council no longer upkeep them so 50p to use.
