Food was alright but a bit on the cold side, due to the girl who was serving too busy talking to a lad that had just walked in the back door, she had been out to petrol station for drinks but never washed her hands once when coming in and out of the shop, she may have had her hair in a bobble but it was that long it was hanging everywhere. Now I'm going to mention her really bad attitude, asked her a question about my food and the reply was "yeah why" with a look of disgust then tried to have a laugh about some scraps and again she said " well its alright for free" and then in front of all the customers" i dont want to be here i feel like going home " to the lad next to her. Gone down hill big time! Awful, rude staff! Went in a couple of weeks ago, no other customers in the shop and was told I'd have to wait until she'd finished ordering her McDonald's delivery. Just been back tonight, ignored whilst the staff had a conversation about shutting the door an hour and a half before closing time, to stop customers coming in. Wanted a battered black pudding, heard the girl frying say "no chance, takes too long". Then was told that they weren't defrosted by the girl serving. Best fish and chip shop there is in my local area. The food is delicious at very reasonable prices and the staff are very loyal and friendly.

Even though there were times when I had to wait for quite a bit as I do understand that at certain times the staff are extremely busy dealing with a lot of other customers and they got to me as soon as they could.

I have been going to this chippy from when it first opened and have not had any problems at all.
