Nice peaceful Autumn stroll. 🍂 easy for parking if you arrive early. I parked at the Owd Betts pub Edenfield Rd, Rochdale OL12 7TY as I needed a safe disabled parking bay. There were a number of spaces free just opposite the pub also on the side of the road.

Beautiful place for a walk. Free parking and a van that serves tea coffee ice creams hot dogs etc with plenty of bins around so no excuses to litter!. Loads of walks into the hills or a nice walk round resovouir. Can be muddy will need your wellies!

Lovely reservoir, great 50 road leading towards it, parking is sometimes hard to get but well worth going, theres a side road you can also park on to get a better view of the hills and the windmills too

Great place to blow any cobwebs away ! Great views of Manchester,Rochdale,Bury & even Jodrell Bank (Binoculars) on a clear day ! Some good Bird watching as well,recent circuit of the Res I saw Skylark,Lapwing,Wheatear,Curlew,Meadow Pipit,Goldeneye & a good few more species. And if it's a bit rough weather wise you've got a great bolt hole called Owd...

A lovely hill top reservoir with easy access for a walk or a bit of birdwatching. Great in the summer evenings but a bit bleek sometimes in winter. Nice pub close by that let dogs in, so once round the res' with the dog and a swift half in the boozer before home. Great view for a sunset evening with plenty of...
