For the past four years, the local community centre has been a vital hub for martial arts classes that benefited local children and families. These sessions ran smoothly, with no major issues, and were always well-supervised. Sadly, that has recently changed.
The centre manager, Harjinder Ganger, has raised multiple complaints—ranging from noise levels to children being unruly and people arriving on bikes. These claims feel unfounded to many of us in the community who have witnessed the classes being responsibly run and well-managed.
Due to these ongoing complaints, the classes have now been forced to relocate to a venue much further away. This decision has made it harder for local families to access the sessions, and it feels like a loss for the community. The situation has also created an uncomfortable environment for both staff and regular users of the centre.
