Coldingham bay is just a little beach but is absolutely lovely. There is a little (free) car park next to it and a surf shop and cafe but other than that no other commercial presence. The beach is excellent with nice sand and great views. The community beach box on the way in is such a good idea (old buckets and spades and other beach equipment left for anyone to use). Read moreMy favourite beach in the area is Coldingham Sands. To the north is a short walk over the headland to St Abbs. There are lots of privately owned beach huts too.
To the southern end lies Homeli Knoll, a steep, grassy hill, well worth the climb for excellent views along the coastline, be careful with kids tho. Beyond that, at the southernmost part of the bay beside a small shale/shingle beach Yellow Craig, a 30-metre high cliff.

Great for surfing and body boarding. Dogs welcome. Free car park, free public toilets and a beach cafe available. Depending on tide, it's possible to rock pool! Lovely 4km costal walk from Eyemouth to Coldingham Bay possible too. Visited many time and will go back...
