Staff always very helpful and friendly - I've been there three times now. Two years ago I saw a photo in the ring binder that looked like my relative - standing with two other men - the curator said he knew one was a Munro - Well, over the past few weeks I've been doing the family tree with a vengeance and think I now know who all three are.... pity I can't get up there to confirm!! How frustrating!!! Can't wait to get back. Loads of family tree...

A small volunteer run museum, packed full with fascinating information on the history of the area. Really enjoyed visiting and talking to the ladies who were volunteering that day. A wonderful asset for Ellenabeich and Easdale, and particularly admire how this has been done by the community for the community. It's so important to visit little places like this and if you can make a donation. Well...

I wish I had caught the name of the wonderful older lady who was at the desk here. She was a joy to speak with, pointing out all the most interesting parts of the museum to us and answering all of our questions. The museum itself is a fascinating and eclectic look into the history of the town and the neighboring island, definitely worth a stop!
