Morrisons Halfways - Delivery Service failure for a registered blind lady over 50 during Covid19 lockdown... I am writing this review for my friend who is registered blind, I am her best friend who created an online delivery account with morrisons 2 weeks earlier, and this was our first ever use of the Morrisons Delivery Service from Halfway Store, Sheffield. I placed the first order a week in advance of the delivery date, the order value was around £130. The order arrived on time by a friendly professional delivery driver, well done Morrisons delivery guys. The order arrived with around 9 items substituted and 4 items missing, one of the items was Morrisons white bread, we where concerned why they had not substituted this simple and well stocked product with any other white loaf ? This made many of the other items ordered useless as they where purchased especially to make sandwiches. I phoned the help desk as i live 50 miles away and could not pop over to supply her with bread. The help desk refunded £10 as a gesture of good will, although this made no difference to the fact she could not leave the house under any circumstances to buy bread due to her position. Some of the sandwich food went to waste. The following week we decided to give Morrisons a second chance. Upsettingly again many of the items where substituted and again several items missing. I immediately called the help desk and spoke to "SAM" a very helpful employee who promised the missing items would be delivered the following day. The following day a delivery bringing the missing items was made and similar items where delivered, however because the replacement items where different there was a credit to be refunded to us. We did nothing at this stage thinking Morrisons would call us and refund the difference. This did not happen instead an UNPROFESSIONAL & DEMANDING lady called 2 days later from the Halfway store announcing herself to be a Morrisons employee working in the department of Support Doorstep Delivery's ? a department we had never herd of ? She explained she was nothing to do with the Morrisons Online Shopping, this confused me and raised my suspicion as to why this different department of Morrisons should be calling me asking for a payment ? She was very strong willed like some sort of dept. collector and spoke down to me, advising we had to pay for the extra delivery immediately! I tried to explain the story but the lady talked over me wouldn't listen to my explanation and made me feel like i was a criminal. Her attitude and avoidance to listen to my explanation made me feel upset and angry, especially knowing Morrisons actually owed a credit to us and not that we owed Morrisons any money. I had to put the phone down on the employee as she would not stop talking and her failure to let me explain was making me feel really bad about the situation. She made 2 further attempts at calling me which i did not answer. I have since then made over 7 calls to the customer help desk, I have sent many messages via the Morrisons Facebook and over 8 emails to customer services, all trying to explain the situation and in hope of some one confirming we did not owe Morrisons any money and they in fact owed us a refund for the difference in price. We both feel let down by our first ever customer journey with Morrisons and will definitely not be using their delivery service again. We have still not had any confirmation of the so called DEPT , an explanation or apology from Morrisons. Very saddening they can treat a registered blind lady over 50 in this position...

I would give it zero if I could.

I put £7 in the jet wash and it was frozen so I went back to my car after trying several programs just to make sure it wasn't just that one program not working then I went back to my car got my phone found the camera app and made a video by this time there was six minutes and 19 seconds left on the machine.

I thought great with video evidence and proof of it not working I could go into the petrol station show the lady and it'll be quick to settle.

When I went into the kiosk there was an Indian lady serving having an argument with another lady who left her sunglasses in there a few weeks earlier called the staff said they found them and they were keeping them to one side but this Indian lady was saying there were no sunglasses without even checking basically calling the other customer a liar so I waited my turn and guess what apparently a video if it's not working with six minutes and 19 seconds credit on there is not enough proof and they do not give refunds.

Then they told me they didn't believe me that I put seven pounds in why would I put 7 pounds in when I can get a car wash for five pounds.

Then she tried telling me that I was lying because the jet wash cost one pound for two minutes which meant I only had three pounds in there so I went back out to the machine and written right in the front and big letters is 2 pounds equals 3 minutes so even assuming that it took zero seconds for me to realize it wasn't working go back to my car get my phone and make a video she eventually after 20 minutes of shouting and arguing refunding me four pounds 50 out of my seven pounds that woman is a thief. How somebody working for a big company like Morrisons can call two customers in a queue at the same time liars within the space of five minutes with a big queue of customers out the back and have no repercussions is absolutely beyond me I have no idea I'm about to go over to the main store and speak to the manager maker complaint but just avoid this place especially if that woman is working

Manager at this store is as arrogant as it gets we were at the deli counter and their was a sign saying caution slippery floor but their was 2 puddles. I then went to the fridge nearest to the deli counter to see what fresh cooked meat was in their and i caught myself on an overhanging plug, it did not hurt me but shocked and startled me. The manager was called he turned up instantly and he asked what the problem was and I mentioned about the wire and he sarcastically said well its not going to electricute you, I said that wasn't the point I wasn't injured just shocked and startled, my wife then said to him about the sign on the floor and he said yes this girl is sorting the puddle out now but she had actually been doing nothing for about at the most 5 mind and we had already mention the fact of the 2 puddles on the which her reply was we already know. The manager then start to become quite rude so we started to walk away from the confrontation, he then shouted YOU DONT WALK AWAY FROM ME WHILST I AM TALKING TO YOU, he then persisted to walk around the store still shouting at us, my wife then stopped and he got up in her face, bearing in mind he doesn't know her character and the fact she has mental health issues, he proceeded to raise his voice and tell my husband to calm down and get me under control and thats when my wife swore at him and he then really got louder so we decided not to carry on shopping in the store, he then turned to us and said get out and don't come back. He started to follow us out and got so far and said to somebody else on the floor to ESCORT us out of the store. Really that's how you treat customers. He also said we were no longer welcome in that store, funniest things is we regularly do our BIG shop at that store and spend over 500 pounds a week in the store but to be treated that way we are going elsewhere Yours sincerely Katie...
