London England Temple — Local services in Tandridge

Absolutely by pure luck we have come across this amazing temple when we were traveling to visit some other local attractions nearby.

The London England Temple (formerly the London Temple) is the 12th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The London England Temple was the second temple built in Europe, following the Bern Switzerland Temple (1955) and the first built in the United Kingdom.

The Magna Carta was signed in 1215 in the same county of Surrey where the London England Temple is located.

Located in Lingfield , just a few miles east of the London Gatwick Airport, near a very busy road and constant planes flying above, nonetheless you won't miss it as it is very easily to spot on.

Lots of benches around to sit and enjoy this beautifully done place with a picturesque pond with ducks and paradise-like formal grounds.

The temple grounds are one of the largest in the world, and you can easily spend a whole day here.

The car park is available and decent size, but make sure of the time when they are closing the gates.

Built in grounds of an old manor house, the temple demonstrates what it is to be part of a manicured and designed landscape. This is not a bad thing as it's designs are all about making the area feel very peaceful.

Highlights include the pond and bridge, the David O. McKay oak, the stream running across the property, the flower beds, and the run up to the front of the property. And this does not even include the temple itself.
