Soul Pizza Truck — Local services in Teignbridge

Quite surprised/embarrassed that I haven't done this before. I gladly admit that I am friends with Sam and Daisy(the lovely couple that give soul to Soul) but my review is not based on this- they will freely admit that praise don't come easy from my cheery mouth. The flavour of this sourdough base tastes different. Different to anything I've ever tasted before. When hot and fresh- the best flavours, perfectly blended,seasoned and served with a flourish of good chat from ordering to wiping your smile down as you eat the last crumbs. But the real test of any pizza is what you need to do the next day in order to eat any leftover crusts. Any other pizza I've ever eaten the next day religiously requires some sauce type to make it palatable. Not so these. The taste of the sourdough base the morning after has an unfeasible amount of taste bud titillation with sour, salt, pepper, bite and crunch. No need for pimping--...

Some of the best, if not THE best pizza ive ever had. The base was light with a lovely chew and the crust was airy and slightly chared on the edges which elevated the whole thing to the next level. Honestly its hard to even put in to words, just outstanding. Tried their pizza for the first time at Tunes in The Castle 2025, i queued once and then a few hours later went back again to grab another pizza and queued again (queue was a 30 minutes wait at this point but i wasnt bothered, I needed another one of these delicious pizzas!). They then noticed I had been up twice and gave me a free pot of garlic dip, a fist bumb and said to pop back when it was quiet so I could i have a chat and meet the team (unfortunately I ran out of time to take them up on that offer) but I hope to see them again soon! what an awesome...

My god those pizzas... they're insanely good.

The Soul Pizza guys kindly came along to our wedding at Huntsham Court in Devon to supply all the fuel needed for a long night of dancing and drinking, and I can honestly say their food was one of the highlights of the whole weekend. I had stupidly thought I'd massively over-ordered given how much everyone had eaten already, only to find EVERYONE found room just as soon as they saw the van parked up outside. We even managed to steal a leftover one for the drive home, which we had started eating before we left the driveway of the venue...

Can't recommend them highly enough. Amazing food, lovely guys to work with, you should book them...
