Gorgeous spot in Teignmouth along the Devon coast !! Good for a nice afternoon walk
The footpath runs parallel to the train-line and the water front so lots of trains to spot and some stairs to go down to the water front when the tide is out. BE CAUTIOUS if walking when the path is wet as it can get quite slippery! Also be aware, the path at times is only wide enough for two people and it can get quite busy for walkers and runners. Also there isn’t a barrier or rail on the water side of the path so be careful when letting people pass. At Sprey point there are some benches to sit at to watch the waves. Additionally, I believe the footpath is a dead end (ending at the tunnel for the trains)
Definitely Spot the Teignmouth sign- great spot for...

However, the area is poorly maintained with graffiti, abandoned railway paraphernalia and, sadly, an abundance of used tissues discarded on the seaward side of the Point, which is hidden from the path by trees. It's a real shame this area is not being maintained for...
