Is free however much of it is closed off either unsafe or under refurbishment. The amusement arcade which you go through first is popular but extremely noisy. Three beach areas ,the main seafront..the estuary and the back beach which allows dogs all year round. Beaches are a mix of sand and shingle. Watch out for seagulls they will swoop and steal your food. Plenty of benches along seafront... visited on a Sunday and didn't seem overly busy despite excellent weather. Good for...
Read moreReally nice beach with nice old pier, Amusement arcade. Near the beach is Teignmouth Green for picnics and just fun. Along the front is plenty of places to eat and drink. From the beach you can walk into the town centre with various shops, Restaurants and pubs and Gift shops. There is parking which is still coins only near the seafront and it's £3.30 for two hours. Alsorts big children's playarea. I do like it here and pleased that hasn't been changed. Teignmouth is between Exeter and Paignton via Torquay. Read moreGreat place to walk along and grab a coffee. Or ice cream in the summer. I like walking up through the park up the hill past the railway line. Also it's a few miles up to dawlish warren on the coastal path along the front with the trains flying past occasionally.
In the winter the waves whip up over the front on windy days. Quite dramatic but be careful😳
Nice chip shops on the front.
Even when it's wet I like the walk. Need the right waterproof in though.
