Jaywick Beach is a broad stretch of soft sand, about a mile west of the main resort of Clacton-on-Sea. It usually remains quite secluded despite the close vicinity of Clacton Pier where it often becomes overcrowded as soon as the weather turns favourable. Jaywick Beach actually has the softest sand of this entire stretch of coastline, so well worth the walk out from Clacton-on-Sea for the experience of an almost unspoilt beach.
