Had a wonderful visit to the lighthouse, the views and walk down to the ticket point alone is stunning, we had a slightly overcast day which added to the drama! Once inside a little wait until you go up to the main attraction. Point to note this is 4 stories up maybe more on a tight steep spiralling staircase, I got halfway and bottled it. Back down I went, after a couple minutes I regained my manhood and went the full way. Once at the top the next guide was 10/10, just one of lifes nice guys! Some amazing history and to be honest I'd have paid just for the view! Once I'd popped back downstairs we said our goodbyes. On the way out the chap again caught our attention and gave us a sticker that said I climbed the lighthouse, as a grown man a throughly enjoyed his humour! Everyone at the lighthouse...

The view was incredible, with sweeping panoramas of the coastline, the vastness of the Irish Sea, and, on clear days, even glimpses of Ireland in the distance. The descent down a steep cliff path, followed by a crossing on a narrow footbridge that enhances the feeling of adventure.
