Great weekend away, however this campsite comes with a BIG BUT
we booked your campsite directly through your website where you make it crystal clear before booking:
“We are a family-oriented camping facility. Therefore, we do not generally accept group bookings of anymore than 3 adults per pitch. (Families with teenagers/classed as adults will be accepted). If you're unsure, please call us to avoid your booking being cancelled, or turned away.”
This statement is completely false! you allow groups by the hoards, those in one tent were in far in the minority, it’s fine if you want to be a party campsite however your advertising is false and you really should update this!
If people want to go away for a party that absolutely fine, but it’s also fine for those that want to go away for a quiet weekend away, we booked on the basis of the statement on your website and therefore did not expect to be spending the weekend listening to everyone’s music even though we were in the quiet field.
Cannot fault the work of your security staff as not sure how they managed it but they did manage to quieten down the party goers and turn the music off at 10.30, although maybe i should have spent more time reading the reviews before booking as I have never had to stay on a campsite which has required a security presence before!
Like I say we did have a fab weekend just was not quite what we had paid for due to the terms on your booking pages - please update so future customers can make an informed decision as to whether your campsite is really what they are...

Music being played in reception had loads of f words shouting out. Glad I didn't bring my children in. Sadly our first night we got woken up by load music at 11.30pm. Our 3 kids got woken up. Then dispite them being told to keep quite etc. They turned off their music to only still shout and do bellowing laughs til early hours. Then just to take the mic played music at 1.30am for literally 1minute to wake us all up again. I did mention to receptionist next day. But no sorry that your family had a bad sleep, just told theirs a security hut in the field if any issues. Thankfully they didn't wake us up second night. Overall lovely place. Just need friendly staff who look happy to be their and willing to be helpful to customers. Toilets were okay. But quite often had empty tissue paper boxes. And toilets were pretty dirty. Defo wise to take some cleaning wipes for toilets before sitting on them or letting your trousers hit the floor. Even when asking about the pizza bus being open the staff had no idea when they were going to be open or even if they would be open. Very confusing. So we had to find out for ourselves. 40quid a night was a rip off for me. I've been with my family to campsites in woolacombe with farmshop on site, beautiful luxury toilets and showers in quite farm fields for 20 a night. But guess it was double for the fact it was school...
Read moreWe stayed here for a night and the location is convenient about 20 minutes from Rhossili Bay which worked well for our itinerary.
It’s a first-come, first-served site and was quite busy when we arrived. The atmosphere was lively but a bit noisy, so if you’re looking for a peaceful spot, this might not be the best fit.
The campsite has a family and kid-friendly vibe, with plenty of open space and a casual, social feel. There was a pizza bus and mini bar area, with lots of benches to hang out and enjoy food in the evening.
Facilities were decent. There were plenty of bathrooms and showers, and I liked the floor mats and cabinets to store your things while showering. However, the hairdryer required an extra payment, which felt a bit unnecessary. Laundry and dishwashing stations were...
