Mynydd Illtud — Local services in Wales

Mynydd Illtud is one of my favourite places to visit. It's within a short walking distance of the National Park Visitor Centre, and once you're out on the common you get panoramic views of all four mountain massifs which make up the Brecon Beacons.

Lovely walks with variety, from ancient landmarks to the remains of a Roman Road... Bogs... Nature! Visitor centre and Cafe were sadly not open (April) - not even for take aways/sitting outside. Some lovely views from here, unfortunately today isn't the best day. Low cloud and rain showers. But it's still good to get out for a walk. Then you can head to the visitors centre and down to the Beacons view for hot food...
