Stunning walk leading from st Ives into Zennor village. Beautiful views of the coast and you’ll reach new heights that will take your breath away. Definitely take a drink to do this walk and be careful as the terrain is very up and down.

We did the hiking from st Ives to Zenor head, and it was very beautiful. So many beautiful views. On the way you find lots of small streams where you can drink fresh water. When you arrive to Zenor Head, very cute village welcomes you.

Zennor Head walk certainly has a brilliant view. The colours of flora and fauna are beautiful. I would highly recommend this place for someone who likes to enjoy nature away from the crowd.

I have read the coast walk from Zennor to St Ives is the hardest part of the SW coast walk.It is a relatively short stretch of cliff path, just over six miles but it took me just under 6 hours to walk, climb and crawl this stretch of the path. The easy part is just outside Zennor and from there you will find even in August narrow mud paths, rocky paths and large slabs of rock you will have to climb where the path disappears. Piles of rock take the place of mud gullies and a path that descends from the cliff top to almost sea level and then a brutally steep climb back up the path to cliff height again. Some people may claim they did this walk in a few hours and all I can say is they must be fitter than me and have the climbing skills of a mountain goat.I did this mad scramble in August 2021 after thinking my hike across the fields from Zennor to St Ives three years earlier was cheating.Sometimes ignorance is bliss. There are times during our adventures when we question our sanity and wonder why we don't read about people's adventures from the comfort of an armchair rather than cross ankle snapping( hopefully this doesnt happen) rocks because just like mountaineers, the challenge is there and can't be ignored, and we love the fresh air, peace and quiet, and the different view we discover around every corner. Its only six miles or so but even though I am 64 feel the Jurassic coast walk,Sidmouth to Studland was relatively easy(apart from the climb up that hill at the end of the firing range easy of Lulworth, and if you walk that way and see that hill you will whisper omg as well.) I reached St Ives, sat on a seat by the harbour and knew I had achieved something. Not quite the satisfaction felt after the Channel Island Way,or the horizontal rain experience on the Gower Peninsula a few years ago but this one is a challenge.I have decided to add "What three words? to my phone, just in case. Please don't forget your water bottle. You will be on your own here apart from fellow walkers in the distance. You may meet people who are walking from Minehead to Studland.Their ankles hurt at this stage. The end of the Zennor to St Ives leg will take you around the headland at St Ives so you may think you have walked past the town somehow. The walk ends at the corner of the museum. One more hill to climb out of town but it doesn't seem that steep after the...
