I have gone to Sodak too many times to count and have never had a negative experience there. Their prices are reasonable, their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a lot of variety in the products they offer. It is a one stop shop where you can walk in and grab whatever you need, or find yourself in a 45 minute conversation over two guns and the merits of both. I've always tried to support my local gun stores by purchasing firearms from them versus big box stores. Firearms buying selling experience was alright. My first time buying a gun from this place went like this. Knew what i wanted and was looking for it. Not one person helped, approached a sales rep just yapping with his friend. Asked if he could help me. He personally was going to say no to me that he was busy. But said friend of his knew they was just talking. He left the conversation. Said Sales rep wasn't very helpful, knew very little about handguns. Called SoDak a little over a week before I came out and asked about a certain gun I was having trouble finding.Turned out they had it and I asked the owner AJ if he could hold it for me till I got there gave him my word I’d be there and he held it for me! AJ is a super guy very friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t treat anyone wrong in the store.
