Went there yesterday to some goat meat. I wanted goat meat with no skin and I told the person helping me that. He showed me the meat and it had no skin and I said that looks good and went to the cashier to pay. I didn’t check in the store or after I left because I had trusted them to at least pack me the meat I had picked which was supposed to be skinless. However when I got home and opened the bag I was in total disbelief. The meat that was in the bag was totally different than the meat that the guy had showed me earlier at the store. They had put skined meat in my bag when I went to pay when I specifically said I want skinless and even paid for skinless meat. I’m so shocked by the way these people run their business. I paid 88 dollars the least you could do is give me what I asked for. This is not the first time this store has tried to scam me. I wanted to go back and say something but they had already closed for the day. I want to go today but it’s Monday and they close on Mondays. My husband has cholesterol and we try not to eat meat with skin and I am really disappointed by the service and the fact that they try to scam innocent people. I advice not to go here because they will grab any opportunity to scam you. It’s very...
Read moreStopped here for the first time on Sat. We didn't know what to expect, except it was a meat market ( we had driven past several times before) we entered on the right and there was a meat counter with several cuts of fresh meats. There is another side to the store, where live animals are kept ( which we didn't expect) I'm supposing they slaughter whatever meat you choose. Goats, calves, ducks, rabbits, chicken, you name it. Saw everything except pigs. They have a cooler with fresh organic milk, eggs and more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Personally, I wouldn't take my kids here; might be a shock to the system. We purchased fresh eggs ( l plan on baking a cake) and some ground beef ( which was very delicious) Recommend if you're looking for fresh meat. Doesn't get much...
Read moreNot a great first experience. I called and asked if they had veal chops. The person who answered the phone said they'd have them at the meat department. So, I drove 30 minutes to their shop. The person behind the counter did not know what a loin chop was, and barely spoke enough English to understand "beef" and "veal". They did not have any veal, chops or otherwise, so I drove 30 minutes in and 20 minutes out for nothing. For the record, the answer I was given by the person at the meat counter was "Veal no". I didn't bother asking him if he would get any, or could order any, because he simply didn't speak enough English for us to have that conversation. I left pretty disappointed about the entire experience, to be honest. I don't think...
