This was our first, and unfortunately worst, antique store experience in Adamstown. We arrived upon opening, and were immediately greeted by an uninviting building, with an unkempt and unprofessional exterior and patio. Inside was dingy, disorganized and poorly illuminated. Worst though, was some weirdo, grumpy, old man who glowered at my wife and I as we passed the register. Then, he proceeded to follow us at a distance throughout our store, and then turned away whenever we turned to confront him. Finally, my wife and I gave up as what the store presented was NOT worth our time to shop, and certainly not worth our money.

Hm. Is the toss-up at the front entrance enticing (like, ooh, I wonder what goodies are thrown in here?) or off-putting (like, ugh, what a mess)? Depends on who is looking I guess. It was cold and drizzly so we didn't poke around out there. A large interior building. We weren't greeted by the staff at the front counter and largely ignored. Each booth is rented by a different vendor, so each has differences in presentation, selection and pricing (not cheap, but not ridiculous). Interesting assortment, but we didn't find anything for us today.

Nice antique place with multiple booths. It has a little bit of everything you'd normally see at an antique place. Decent size inside. Decent amount of parking right outside.

Extremely rude!! I drove all the way from TX and this store was #1 on my bucket list and the first and only stop I had time to make due thunder storms and traffic jams. I tried and even called to make sure we would be ok if we were there around 4:30 and had time to shop. You would think they would lock the door and give their customers a few more mins to shop. We were rushing through and an employee told us we had 8 mins, then she turned the lights off at 4 mins. She proceeded to say "well you still have a few mins". (IN THE DARK?) 5 more mins would not hurt to give us time to rush through??? I wanted to buy the huge sink in the back and a cabinet in the front. I walked out and left several gifts that I wanted to give friends and family. Yes that was my choice, and yes we were cutting it short but I just don't understand why a few mins wouldn't hurt....especially when we called to let them know we were...

This is a nice store and has some very unique items at decent prices. However, I just left an antique store across the street because they were complaining very loudly about the cost of rent going up. And here I came into the store and the person at the register was doing the exact same thing. First of all, i empathize with the fact that rent is going up in sales are going down, but have you considered the possibility that people leave your shop because they don't want to hear complaining all the time. Antique shopping is meant to be fun and relaxing and when you go into stores and all they're doing is complaining loudly or getting an attitude with you because you ask them to open up a case, maybe that's...
