Express TCG — Local services in Aiken County

This place is alright for just playing...kinda. Ill have to explain bit by bit.

For starters, they sold prismatic evolutions at literal scalper prices. $110 for an etb and advertised it as "just under market value". Do with that knowledge what you will.

Secondly, they do not use TOM for their locals events. For just a locals, its fine. You get paired with other players. But the issue is that TOM works completely differently than what this store uses. This store just uses an online tournament tool with minimal features just used for pairing. TOM calculates more than just number of wins. It takes multiple factors into account such as Win Percentage, Opponents Win percentage, etc. and that is used to pair players with other players that have similar stats giving each player an equal chance. I have never seen a league event ran here and that is because they do not report their play times like other stores do.

It is very clear that they don't really care about their events or their players and that kind of just sucks considering this is the closest store to me. This is literally just a bare bones store that sells singles and packs just like any retailer. There's nothing that really makes me wanna come back here as much as other stores do. I really wish they'd just run their events properly and not try to scam their players either....

Probably the worst store to play at in the area. Nothing against the players, the player base is Top tier but The owner is ignorant & money hungry and cares nothing about the player base, scalps prices on product & pushes players away that come and play at the store every weekend for weekly events, lets non players participate in pre release events instead of the players who constantly support their business. These players signed up early, reserved a spot during the weekly event. You over selling extra spaces online and not honoring your players spot It’s...

Do not preorder from here. I preordered a couple boxes set to release at the end of February, after they failed to ship the weekend of release I tried to contact the store twice through their support email and never got any response. It took four and a half days after the shipping label was printed for them to finally hand it to UPS so once I received my product it was over a week after release. I can only speak on my experience with this store as an online retailer and not a physical store but I cannot recommend them...
