I really wanted to love this place- and support them! Yesterday was our second visit for puppy vaccines. They are obviously understaffed, which I sympathize with. We are always there for 3 hours (or more) for vaccines. The entire reason we go is to support their mission, because the prices are not less that a full service veterinarian office. Yesterday for my puppies 2nd round of shots I requested a booster DHPP, Fecal & Dewormer. I specified that he had been experiencing loose stool and his liter mate was diagnosed with Coccidia. I waited in the car to pay my bill- when my receipt was brought out he was given a rabies vaccine (he’s 12 weeks old- did not request) and also Advantage Multi, which I did not request. He also wasn’t dewormed. His fecal was negative for Coccidia, but at 12 weeks it wouldn’t hurt to give him basic pyrantel. We planned on getting him neutered here, again to support their mission, but they seem so unorganized I’m scared to leave him for surgery. I honestly think they would operate better as a walk-in vaccine clinic with lower prices and cutting out the physical exams and moving their process much quicker as I’ve experienced with other non profit...
Read moreVisited Monday 8-11-25. When you come, make sure to get there very early. People start to line up around 11AM, especially closer to the weekend. Sign-in sheets are put out around 12:45. My total visit was 3 hours including waiting for the sign-in, paperwork, my kitties being seen and waiting for my bill. I visited for 2 adult cats, one needed a dewormer and the other a wellness check. My experience was okay considering their high volume as a walk-in clinic, though I don't think my cats were even taken out of their carriers for their checkup. The topical dewormer is supposed to be placed on the back of the neck but it was put in the middle of my cat's back where she could easily lick it off.... which could warrant another vet visit. You are also not allowed back into the exam room with your pet. If you have the means another vet may be a better option. I don't feel that the service was very thorough but the price wasn't terrible. Staff is...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about the SPCA vet clinic! I adopted my puppy, Jupiter in January from another shelter and used the clinic for his additional vaccines. Let me start by saying each time I come here I always expect a long wait as this is common with any vet clinic, but I’ve been able to come and go within 30-45 mins! Along the way my puppy had some small issues I had the vets look at here and I’m so pleased with the quality of care he has received. Jupiter is shy with new people and each time the techs came to get him to take him in they were so sweet and patient with my boy. At one visit one of the techs even took the time to write that Jupiter was a very sweet boy on the bottom of his visit sheet. It really is the little things that make me love this place. The receptionists, techs, vets, and volunteers are all so nice! I highly recommend using the SPCA clinic for pet vaccines, monthly preventatives, and...
