I have been counting on Northern Air for my plumbing needs for about eight years now, and I have always been happy with their service. That is why, about a year ago, I called them when I found myself in an extremely stressful situation where my newly dug well had gone foul and I had about a month to resolve getting clean water while staring down a family members major medical procedure that would entail months of recovery. I worked with Kira and Brian to resolve the situation, and I really have no words to express how thankful I have been for their willingness to go above and beyond to help me fix the issue quickly. Kira was in constant communication with me (and the filter system company I had chosen) to work out the scheduling, cost, and delivery aspects. She was up front and transparent about the costs, so there were no hidden fees or surprises at the end. Brian came out to do the work, and he was excellent! He took the time to listen to my concerns, walk me through the installation, and show me the nuts and bolts of my new system. Beyond that, the system has worked flawlessly since installed. Read moreFrom beginning to end, the folks at Northern Air were awesome and we would highly recommend them. We had arrived home late in the evening to an extremely cold house. We started a fire in the fireplace and were going to deal with it in the morning with better lighting. Our first task in the morning was a call to the folks at Northern. Here's where our story begins. From the initial evaluation from the service tech, the acquisition of a new furnace, to the series of installers, these folks were machines, and had this process down pat. One guy showed up in the morning to unhook the old and get ready for the new. Just as he finished, the new furnace showed up with two more guys, the first tech leaves. These next two guys fully installed the new furnace, and then another one leaves. The last person stayed until the furnace was fully functioning, even going so far as melting an ice plug that had formed in the exhaust pipe leaving the house. When they had called him to check on his progress with the ice, another guy was on his way out to help. In spite of a broken furnace, the cold winter temps we experienced through the night, Northern Air made us feel like we were their only customers that day. Kudos...
Read moreI'm very disappointed with Northern Air. I have been a customer for 20+years. They always did a good job opening and closing my lake property. This summer a couple things came up.... First- leaking pipe under the building. They came out and told me there wasn't a leaking pipe. Second- shower problems. They came out, confirmed there has been a leak under the building that has caused other problems since it wasn't taken care of months prior. I was told to replace the shower. They came and measured at the end of July. Now it's been months of me calling to schedule the replacement to be scheduled with confusion from the front desk and a 'guaranteed' call back. For the past two weeks I have been calling and have left numerous messages and still no word on anything. They are supposed to go turn off the plumbing and heating on this property this coming Tuesday and I can't even get a hold of anyone to confirm that that will happen. I am more than disappointed and concerned. This used to be the best place to work with, but it has gone down hill and I just want to talk...
