Roush's Market — Local services in Akron

From my great grandparents to myself. We lived on Blanch right down the street from the owners. This was the go to store. It still is. When I come back from Columbus I make it a point to patronize.

I see some negative comments about pricing but they fail to realize that good quality and excellent customer service are hard to find. Combine that with longevity of the family business throughout the years, it's a no brainer.

Excellent specialty store. Has all the best meats and seafood available. The people are a nice bunch and friendly.

They even have a Krispy Krunchy for quick bites to eat but with house specials. I've been trying everything on the menu. Chicken and Jamaican meat pies are really good, but their ruben sandwiches are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! (If you like ruben sandwiches, you'll love Roush's rubens here)

I've always loved coming to this store as a child! Most of the time I was with grandparents. You could smell the smoked meats before you walked through the door. Every aisle was stocked w anything you needed and a few you didn't know you needed. My favorite things to get from there is crowder peas, smoked meats(any part) and a really good T-Bone steak. My grandparents are all gone now...but I still go to Roush's to stay connected to the store and the memories...
