Nice place to stop. They sell souvenirs ranging all sorts of prices, as well as snacks, drinks, orange juice, and a variety of citruses. Their merchandise starts at $0.99 and can go up to around $70. The staff is kind and take their time to assist you, as well as try to fix or help any complaints you have. They're very patient with customers, too. While the 13 foot gator is taxidermy, they do have some live baby gators that they rent from Gatorland that are checked up on and fed weekly. The main thing they sell is citrus; navel and valencia oranges, honeybell tangelos, ruby red grapefruit, and varying tangerines. The pre-bagged fruit starts at $16.95 and goes up, which are rebagged and checked for bad fruit daily. The loose fruit is $3/lb and is also gone through every day to assure that customers don't receive or find rotten fruit. But then something good happened, Sophia planted a surprise destination in the GPS and then she took a nap. Well I sure listened to some interesting podcasts because Sophia’s phone was connected to the speakers. Anyway, two hours later I arrived here and I found some cool real dried out gator heads, some fruit-consuming utensils, and a staff so helpful my heart got full and plump like a Florida orange. And the best part? I got a free thing for leaving this very review. Oh and that review I mentioned? You’re reading...
Read moreA must-stop spot for Florida flavor!
We had such a fun and refreshing experience at the Florida Citrus Center! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The place is full of Florida charm — we got to sample fresh-squeezed orange juice (absolutely delicious!) and picked up some unique local treats like citrus candies, jams, and alligator jerky.
They also have great souvenirs, t-shirts, and fun Florida-themed gifts that aren’t too touristy. The store was clean, well-stocked, and easy to browse.
If you're traveling through Florida or looking for a gift that really represents the state, definitely stop by. You’ll leave with something tasty...
