This is one of the most beautiful spring tours I have taken. Bry, our guide took care of all the details such as launching and retrieving our glass bottom kayak, showing us and telling us Scott the several wild orchids and lilies growing, turtles of all sizes and huge gar. She knows the Santa Fe spring system well and its flora and fauna. There was time to swim and hike at some of the three different spring heads Bry guided us too. The tour started and finished on time and she took pictures of us on the water and a 400 year old cypress that were great. She even took a short video underwater of the beautiful vegetation at the spring. I would recommend Bry to anyone for an outstanding time on a beautiful and peaceful spring run. We will be back!
While Bry offers use of a dry bag you might want one for your towel and camera if you want to take pictures along the way. The spring water is 72 degrees and very refreshing if you go in. The canoes have safety equipment and seats with backs you can lean against. Wear water shoes or tennis shoes you can get wet. Great tour guide Bry, beautiful springs and nature. Most will be able to do...
Read moreWow…this was the greatest way to start the day! We chose the 8am tour and met our guide, Bry, as she was preparing our completely clear vessel for departure. She gently pulled us out in the water, gave us a few quick and helpful hints on proper canoe handling, and took us on a mesmerizing tour through a fantastic piece of nature, we didn’t know existed. Her knowledge and pure happiness to share it, made the two hour tour into an unforgettable adventure. The wildlife, nature, the river, the springs…..the silence as everyone (and everything) on, in, and around the river slowly woke up - as the sun gently started to paint everything with its warm sparkly rays….not enough words to describe it. A tour focusing on nature, the springs, people and experience. Nothing about it seemed to be driven by a moneymaking corporation…we were well taken care of and felt right at home. Bry’s attention to everything around us resulted in several interesting wildlife sightings, and a fish that almost ended up in our canoe…. A great experience. We highly...
Read moreWe had an unforgettable kayaking experience! Our guide, Bry, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful throughout the trip. Bry even took videos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch since I wanted to be present and enjoy the experience with my family.
The scenery was breathtaking, with crystal-clear springs, majestic cypress trees, and plenty of wildlife. We saw turtles, waterfowl, and even a small alligator (from a safe distance!). Swimming in the springs with my son, niece, and nephew was such a special moment. My niece, who rarely does outdoor activities, and my nephew both had a blast—it was such a joy to see them enjoying nature so much.
This was the perfect family outing, and we left with memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you, Bry, for making this experience so special for all of us! Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, relaxation, and...
