WOW! This home is INCREDIBLE! Not only is this house located in the perfect spot, off the Santa Fe River, but this house feels so welcoming and inviting. Robin and Bill have literally thought of everything in this house. Everything is well marked and clearly stated making your stay here effortless. There is directions on how to work everything in the house, no more guessing and get frustrated. When you first walk in you are greeted with floor the ceiling windows, my jaw dropped!!! They have a REC ROOM, how cool! We utilized this space for our paddle boards but I can totally see the Florida Springs Mermaids staying here and hanging their tails and, of course, divers utilizing this spot!! There is NO other house around that offers this! The backyard was my favorite spot. In the mornings I would sit outside with my coffee and listen to the birds chirping and watch the turtles sunbathing and in the evenings we would start a fire a watch the deer drink water from the river.

This house is located near 10+ springs making it the ultimate SPRINGS TRIP DESTINATION!! You have the gorgeous Ichetucknee Springs about 20 minutes away, some springs along the Santa Fe River that are 15 minutes away, and of course, downtown being 7 minutes away. So close to EVERYTHING!!!

Everything was super clean, it felt like I was the only one to have ever stayed there.

Stunning property, great location on the Santa Fe River. The inside of the home is a vacationers home away from home paradise. Every single detail and amenity was carefully thought out with perfect execution. The beds are comfy and the a/c works great! From the moment you drive on to this property you are engulfed in nature. Trees so tall the sunshine only peeks through. Short walk to the public boat ramp and you can dip your toes in clear 72 degree water or hike the nature trail along the river. We launched from the boat ramp and took a 2 hr paddle up the Santa Fe River to River Rise where the river literally just disappears. After Paddling back (this time much fast because going down stream is always easier than up) we able to grill out with the provided grill and charcoal. If paddling is not your thing you could relax and watch a movie on the sofa or sit outside on the patio and listen to the rain on the roof. Tons of board games, darts, rafts, literally anything you could think of ….. it’s here! I can't say enough great things about the property and also the host! Great communication and fast response. What an amazing experience! 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a relaxing rejuvenated vacay to book this property ASAP! We were so lucky to find The Good Life River House for our trip. It's the perfect location to visit the springs in the area as well as going in to Gainesville for football and other sporting events. Located on the beautiful Santa Fe river, the house has everything your group needs. Every detail has been thought of (including 3 different ways to make coffee!!!) and you'll love the house so much you won't want to leave. The bedrooms provide privacy and there's ample space to be together and to find alone time. The outdoor patio provides places for eating, reading and playing games. The kitchen has everything you need, but because of all the great restaurants in High Springs, you may not even end up cooking! (HIGHLY recommend bringing Prohibition Pizza back to the house and enjoying it there) We paddled, hiked, did some bird watching and enjoyed a football game in Gainesville, but wish we had stayed longer and had a chance to use the floats...next time as we'll definitely be back.
