Absolute ridiculousness. I've been in this store countless times and now because they are going through a system update it's saying that my register rewards (CATALINA'S) don't match the items in my purchase. Mind you, these are rewards that I can ONLY get from WALGREENS. Kamron, cashier has known me for years from my shopping at this location. He summons Ivan, the shift lead to find out what to do. Ivan takes my 2, YES TWO not 15 not 20 but TWO, register rewards and walks away. Great, please go verify them . In the meantime I reach out to the 24 hour store on Aloma because last time I was there we had the same issue however THAT shift lead did the RIGHT thing and manually approved and entered my earned Catalina's. I spoke with Marquis, he absolutely recalled the incident and said their system has since completed the update and it was no longer an issue. Fast forward..... Ivan comes back and says there's nothing that he can do and I'll need to come back on MONDAY when the store manager Amanda Adamec is working. Excuse me, so I'm supposed to wait 2 day's to speak with a manager that made you a shift lead with no authority? Unacceptable. Mind you, I've got at least $40+ in frozen, perishable food that legally all they can do is throw out because it can't be put back for sale. I clarify with Ivan that regardless of the fact that I can ONLY obtain these Catalina's from walgreens and because their system is updating and doesn't recognize what I've earned and spent my money to get, I'm supposed to wait until MONDAY to speak with and get approval from the store manager. No thank you. I'll be billing you for my wasted time, gas, energy and losses via a class action lawsuit. I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of customer's that have encountered this but rest assured I not only will be following up with corporate, your district manager as well as regional but an attorney as well. I'm done with wasting my time when Walgreens can't properly train and empower their employees....
Read moreTerrible experience and I come here regularly. Came tonight to get some juices, rose and balloon. As soon as we walked up to the front, Anthony (the black dude with terrible customer service) said âone secondâ as he started counting the money from the drawer. So we say okay and place our things on the edge counter giving him more than plenty of space to count the money. He then gives my girlfriend an ugly look and said âI said give me a secondâ and I asked him what difference did it make, he then turns to me and proceeds to give me a nasty attitude saying âbecause I said so and i work here and you donât.â And I said okay then. Finished putting my things I was purchasing on the counter and walked out with my girlfriend. Have fun putting my stuff back, because you work there, I donât. Upon exiting the store, I heard âAnthonyâ saying something like âyeah, good, do thatâ. I then called back for his name so I can complain about that man with a baby attitude, Lou answered the phone and handed it to him, and he told me âyou can complain all you want and tell them Anthony told you to leave.â This unsuccessful gentleman did not in fact tell me to leave whatsoever, my girlfriend and I left on our own free will not because of this man child. Walgreens needs to do better and hire people with better customer service. Did people forget about a professional setting in a workspace? 3000 N Alafaya Trail location.    Read moreI've had consistently terrible experiences at this pharmacy, but my recent interaction with a tech named Tracy was the worst. I called well ahead of time to refill my extended-release medication, but Tracy didnât process it until after business hours, after which my provider could no longer answer her questions about my prescription, leaving me without it. When I followed up, she was rude and dismissive, saying things like, "We can't just have controlled substances sent to us to sit here," as if my medication was an inconvenience. She also mentioned that she didn't have any other patients on extended-release Xanax, making it clear she didnât care about my situation. Her complete lack of empathy and attitude during this phone call were unacceptable.
In a separate instance, I couldnât show an ID (which was lost at the time) in time before they closed. Instead of offering any kind of help or empathy, another tech laughed when I started crying from the stress and frustration. This kind of treatment is not only unprofessional but completely heartless. Iâm done with this pharmacy and urge others to avoid it until the Better Business Bureau assesses this Walgreenâsâ practices.
