This is a 55+ gated community. Very clean and well-kept location. The water quality is good as well as, electric service. Tons of activities all year long. Two large clubhouses with lots of things going on all the time! Two pools and hot tubs. A dog wash station, showers, mailbox service, lawn service and laundromats make life convenient. There is an RC racetrack, woodshop, new mini golf course, pentague, bocce ball, shuffleboards, billiards, bingo, crafts, cornhole, horse shoes, Wii bowling, soup suppers, pot lucks, different sponsored meals, entertainment, poker runs, bicycle group, Rolle Bolle, pickleball courts, huge well maintained dog park, potlucks, movie nights, karaoke, dances, happy hours, free ice, craft sales, patio sales, walking groups, cards, library, church service, street lights, golf cart pathways, propane service and all the cell phone services work here. I am sure I missed other activities. It is rare to find parks in the Rio Grande Valley that are active year round. This is what I love! They are always working to improve things here! The quiet community is one of the most active in the valley. Some come for just the Winter, while others like us live here full time. We’ve stayed at other parks and this one is definitely the one we will stay forever. Looking for fun and relaxing...
Read moreThere aren't any rooms 😂 I think you can rent campers and mobile homes though. We brought our RV here in April of 2024, we will be getting back on the road in April of 2025. We really like this place and hope to make it our permanent winter home. It is a very active winter park with something on the calendar every day. Activities director is eager to hear and act on resident ideas. Management has been very kind and friendly to us. At one point I contacted them with an ant issue which was taken care of within the hour so, I'm going to say very fast response to complaints! If there's anything I don't like it would be how slow everything got in the summer but sadly, management couldn't kidnap the Yankees and force them to stay through the 100° summer heat wave... I'll certainly have a talk with management about that should we decide to stay...
Read moreThe park is quite old and the infrastructure is lacking. No water (down to a trickle) daily from 3:00ish to 7:00 pm. Phones and internet are always down. Unit 273, washer does not work and a/c does not function properly. Additional dryer stayed on the deck for two months. Electric bill for one month was $241.00 for a one bedroom park model. Both pools consistently out of service. The most alarming things are the “POLICE STATE” park manager, office staff and ownership. They do not understand what customer service means. Very condescending and patronizing towards residents. A constant start and stop. Meaning you’d think they had just opened shop. it’s very obvious the staff has no property management experience). It’s not worth it. Go...
