I have been a patron of this establishment several times, driven by my desire to support local mom-and-pop shops and their exceptional food offerings. Unfortunately, I ceased my patronage due to an unsettling incident involving the older, Caucasian waiter. Upon arriving, I politely addressed her in Spanish, inquiring about seating for my family. Regrettably, her body language and demeanor conveyed a sense of discomfort, indicating that my use of Spanish was unwelcome. This experience left me disheartened, and I am reconsidering my support for the establishment.
UPDATE: I acknowledge and appreciate your response. However, it seems to lean towards a justification of the actions taken by your waiter rather than offering an apology, particularly in light of the recurring nature of similar incidents. In consideration of the circumstances, I suggest that an apology would be a more fitting and constructive response.

Read moreMy hash browns were white. I waited a long time before the waiter abruptly asked what I wanted to order. I noticed they were already under staffed. Then the man who took my order loudly announced that he had to leave and that someone else would be taking care of the orders. It took another half hour for the food to come out. By the time my food came out, the place had became full and the help was running around like chickens without heads. When I was done, I asked for the check, and was told to sit back down and someone would be at our table soon. We waited another 10 minutes when my brother, interrupted a waitress, having a none work related conversation with another customer, and demanded the check, stating that he had somewhere to be. The gravy was bland. I've had better biscuits from a bisquick box. White, cold hash browns was the final straw what made me decide not to ever go back again. I felt robbed, paying for lousy food...
Read moreI never ever EVER thought there would be any place so delicious, so old-fashioned southern; my momma is from MS, I grew up in Louisiana…this is our kind of breakfast! The manager and wait staff is so kind and efficient. The older gentleman that I was with said, “They stole my granny’s gravy recipe!”. I was shocked! I certainly did not expect this particular man to say that about anyone else’s cooking. He is from way back in the woods of LA where they kill what they eat and his granny was top notch at everything. That is 2 enthusiastic thumbs up from him. Oh, and Ryan (Mgr) clarified my Mexican street corn recipe the day before Thanksgiving because my friend and I were here without our families and I wanted to attempt the dish for our holiday dinner. That was just plain nice. 11/27/23 Third time was a charm. So delicious, filling, decadent and just over $20. Unheard of in this economy. Thank y’all for...
