On October 1st I called to make an appointment to get 2 beefs processed and was told to bring them on October 28th. On October 28th my husband took both beefs to Alamogordo to drop them off. On arrival he was told we weren’t on the schedule. That was our first issue. We filled out our forms and thought everything would be fine from there. I called on November 25th because I hadn’t heard from anyone and was told that our beefs would be done within a week to week in a half. I waited 2 weeks then called back in December 8th and was told they just had one done and that they were going to start the other on December 12th and it would be ready for pick up on December 14th. I called once again on December 15th and my beef still wasn’t processed. We finally pick up our beefs on December 17th. We weighed our beefs the evening before we took them to A&M one weighted 1,150 lbs and the other 950 lbs. when we received our beef there wasn’t very much meat for the size of the beef we dropped off. Upon receiving the meat processing paperwork the live weight on our beefs were significantly less then when we dropped them off. One was 880 lbs and the other 1,028 lbs. I’m not sure why there was such a weight difference but out of both beefs we received a total of 701 lbs of meat. The only good part of this situation is that the meat so far has been good. We normally take our beefs to Wilcox AZ and from now on we will always take our beefs to Wilcox AZ. We feel that we didn’t get the amount of meat we should of and we have never had to wait 7 weeks to get our meat processed. I give 2 stars because the meat is good and the people were nice but other then that I won’t be going back to A&M to get my meat...
Read moreWas in Alamogordo on an Oryx hunt in February 2022. The owner was HUSTLING passing out flyers the morning of the Hunt and it was great timing because later that day we would be in need of a processor.
We ended up using them and did an expedite - The packaging and product are great! They also helped load the trailer of which they didn't have to.
As an out of stater - You always get a little nervous leaving a trophy behind and meat. This place and people give you nothing to worry about.
Great experience and GREAT people!! Would never hesitate to use them again or recommend to any other out of state person coming...
