Alaska Backcountry Cottages — Local services in Alaska

Hands down the best vacation of our lives. This is our 3rd time back to Alaska, our 1st time staying on land. We stayed at the cottages for 3 nights with my parents who are in their 70's and it couldn't have been more perfect. The cottages we chose had an upstairs which was great for my hubby and I and a downstairs bedroom for my parents. Everything was up to date with a country cottage feel to it. Lots of little touches that made it feel like home. The washer/dryer were great after our ATV adventure to clean-up. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying what nature has to offer, as well. THANK YOU for the greatest time ever. When my friend and I started to research our trip we stumbled upon this gem. The cottage was perfect ... in a location that was outside of the city. We enjoyed our stay and would encourage friends that may visit Alaska to stay here. They were very attentive if something was needed, they even provide some items in the kitchen for breakfast.

It is perfectly nestled between some of the most beautiful scenery that Alaska has to offer in Palmer. If you are looking for adventure you can book on an ATV excursion or take a helicopter ride. If these adventures are not your thing that is perfectly ok also .. you can go north towards Denali, south towards Seward or East towards Glenallen. What a perfect cottage for our first few nights in Alaska. The mountain views are breathtaking and we enjoyed the patio chairs to take in the scenery. We felt like we were alone, despite the other cottages being occupied. Linda was super responsive when we reached out with questions. The cottage was very clean and decorated perfectly. The beds were also very comfortable. We also booked a side by side tour during our stay, which was amazing. It was so nice being on site and just a few steps away from the meeting place for the tour.
