We stayed here for several nights with our Newmar caravan. There was another caravan there also, so the RV Park was busy. But it is immaculately maintained and the management/owners were very responsive to our needs. We did some accidental damage in/out of two of the spots and the campground worked to get the sites back up and operating. Our team felt horrible, but the owner simply stated it happens, they dealt with it and we all moved on. What a refreshing approach with so many awful issues out there nowadays. This campground is not right on the water, but looks to much better and the grass at each site was amazing. We used this campground to explore Haines, travel to Juneau and Skagway. Well worth it and the corner spots made for great social gathering. Our hats are off to this team, we hope to visit with more friends very soon!

We stayed at Haines Hitch up RV park 5/13/24 for a week. Laura and George are running one of the best campgrounds we have stayed in. They keep the grounds nice and tidy, all sites are level with plenty of space between you and your neighbors and for navigating around the park. The campground is convenient to all of the towns services and amenities.

Lovely place, clean, quiet, well maintained. No noise, no smoke. Hot showers, clean laundry room. I have nothing bad to say. There is one drawback out of anyone's control: you have to back onto the ferry to get here. The folks at the ferry terminal do a great job of talking you through it though.

This is my second update of this review 🤦🏻‍♀️ This place started as a nice enough stop on our vacation. We stayed one night to take advantage of their showering and laundry facilities even though we are just car campers and don’t need hookups, the $56 price tag seemed fair just to get a hot shower and some clean laundry even though I typically camp for cheap or free in more scenic places since I don’t need hookups. The shower was clean and hot and we had a good first night. I went to eat at a local restaurant when I had clothes in the dryer and didn’t make it back before they locked the laundry room at 8pm but wasn’t worried because it opens back up at 8am and I didn’t have to be to my boat to Juneau until 8:30 and the dock is only 3 minutes away, giving me plenty of time. I went to get my laundry when they unlocked the laundry room to discover all of my laundry was completely covered in white pet hair. I mean COVERED. I am including photos of one of my black items and 90% of my laundry load was solid black clothing because that’s all I wear. It was too late to rewash so I tried to find a resolution with the owner but she told me the laundry room closes at 8 and she did not offer me any other resolution besides coming back the next day to rewash my laundry in a clean machine that wouldn’t leave my laundry absolutely filthy. I didn’t get any resolution so I left a review saying as much and got a call to my personal phone within 10 minutes with the owner saying she would make it right by letting me go ahead and wash my clothes late and giving me a free night stay. I really needed to get on the road so I told her I wasn’t trying to get a free night or anything and I’d just be happy with having access to the laundry room late and since they live on site they said that wouldn’t be a problem and I agreed to that. It was going to put me on the road hours later than planned traveling very late with a special needs child, but I was happy to just have clean laundry and I thought that was an acceptable solution and thanked the owner and redid my laundry. When it came out, many of the pieces did come clean this time, the ones made of spandex type material but half of them were still covered in hair and instead of complaining, I laid those pieces out and did my best to use my lint roller to get them as clean as I could and planned to just wash them at a place with clean facilities down the road. This is when the owner came in and let me know I was taking too long and she has other jobs to work at and couldn’t I just lint roll my items in my car and leave? It seemed very hostile and rude and made me feel like she thought I was such a huge inconvenience even though I was the one being inconvenienced. So I just grabbed my clothes and put them in the bag all hairy and gross and left. As I was loading them into my car, her and her husband came over with my camping fee from the night before to return to me and I told her to please keep it because I wasn’t worried about the money as much as I was worried about having my clothes be clean and that obviously wasn’t going to happen and she’d already made me feel so uncomfortable. Then her husband started to say something nasty to me right there in front of my 6 year old daughter and I don’t know what he was going to say because his wife hushed him and he listened. I could tell by his tone it wasn’t about to be nice. I left feeling nervous and like I’d been through a hostile confrontation with these people for absolutely no reason. I would have been done lint rolling within 5 minutes, but she was apparently just in such a hurry it was more convenient to be nasty to me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t like being bullied or who likes to be clean. That’s my honest review. Photos attached. I think you’ll see when I say nasty, I do mean nasty, and I’m not exaggerating. It looks like people use that place to wash a ton of 10 year old...

This is hands down THE BEST campground in Haines. This is a family run business. The owners are Super friendly and very helpful . The grounds are immaculate with beautiful landscaping and lush green grass camping spots. The restrooms and showers are sparkling clean. Full hookups. We have a pull through site. Wifi is free and good signal at your camp spot. The showers are free. They have a nice laundry area. The camp sites are large and spacious. The price is fair and worth it. You are an easy few minutes walking distance to the town . The other full service RV park at the waters edge has cramped spacing on blacktop . It’s really no comparison to this place which has lots of green space. This place is worth every penny. They also have cable TV here. I would highly recommend this campground as the Number 1 choice for camping with an...
