Start to finish was the best experience ever! We did the eco tour and then a day fishing. We enjoyed every part of it.

The eco tour was a way for our family to see a part of Alaska that is remote and only accessible by boat. It was spectacular! The views, the history, the wildlife were incredible. The next day we went Halibut fishing. We were able to get out just after a thunderstorm. This was by far the highlight of our trip. Watching our kids fish felt like Christmas morning. Everyone was laughing and having so so so much fun. Oh and we caught a bunch of Halibut too! I’m excited about the fish we caught but I’m more excited about the memories we made. Captains Katie and Brian keep the atmosphere light hearted and fun but don’t mistake they are all about the business of getting you the best catch!

We really appreciate how above and beyond Katie and Brian were and how engaging they were with everyone in our family. We were all saying on the drive back to our cabin we wish we could go again. Not because we need more fish but because it was so fun we want to go again.

Thank you so much! Thank...

The Reel Salty charter came highly recommended from friends of ours that have fished with them multiple times. We wanted a family experience with our 10 year old daughter having an opportunity to catch fish. We live in Missouri and have a lot of freshwater fishing experience but nothing in the salt. This absolutely blew us away with both the enthusiasm of Katie and Brian as well as their ability to put us on fish. At times, all six rods had fish on them. Talk about excitement! They made sure we had lots of fish to take home and then took us to spots where they knew the big fish roamed. The largest fish of the day was 92 pounds. They were excellent with first timers and children. Our daughter now wants to become Katie’s deckhand when she turns 16. Their years of experience was well displayed with their skill in fishing and also the education they gave us. I felt so safe with their boating skills. Whether it be a family trip, a guys trip, girls trip, whatever trip….Reel Salty is the charter to choose! It was the best day of our 10 day Alaskan vacation by far. We cannot thank you both enough for...

Brian and Katie are absolutely awesome! I work with people with intellectual disabilities, and we booked an early season charter with them for our group. Not only did we catch our limit and some really nice ones, but we had an absolute blast doing it. Brian and Katie were so patient, helpful and fun to fish with. They treated all of my clients as peers (which is more rare than you would think) teaching them all about how to fish for halibut, different species of fish, why we were doing things, as well as educating them on the local area. There was never any pressure to keep a fish, it was totally each persons call, and they worked their tale off to put us on good fishing and some big fish! They love to fish, and it shows, with each fish they were just as excited as everyone else on the boat and it was infectious. Thank you guys so much for an awesome trip, you know we will be...
