We stayed here in August. We followed our GPS without issue to the campground near the Palmer golf course and municipal airport. The turn into the CG was a little tight but manageable with our 40’ toy hauler and F450. Check-in was quick and friendly, and we proceeded to pull-through site 24 with FHUs (50/30 AMP). When we made our reservations online, they asked for the exact length of both our RV and tow vehicle. We were definitely assigned one of their longer pull-throughs, as we could center our rig on the pad for the utilities—well-placed near the middle—while still dropping our patio and parking our truck on either side. The sites were very close together, with only a slender strip of grass and a picnic table between them. Water pressure was steady around 45 PSI. We got 2 bars on Verizon and 1 workable bar on T-Mobile. Because of the close spacing and perimeter trees, we placed Starlink on the roof and had a good connection, though many RVers set theirs on the ground. The campground WiFi worked well for browsing, with speeds of 8.69 Mbps. The laundry room was a standout: two washers and two dryers, $5 per load (pay at the office), and they provided soap and dryer sheets—easily the best laundry deal we’ve seen to date. The large overflow/tent camping area doubled as a dog run, with additional space to walk pups around the property. In our opinion, the back-in sites offered better spacing and mountain views. We also enjoyed watching small planes and helicopters come and go from the nearby airport. Overall, this campground met our needs for our five day stay.

My husband and I had been driving for 7 hours and decided to spend a restful night before going into Anchorage. We settled on Paradise RV Park based on its location and previous comments. I have never written a review of any campground prior to this, although we’ve stayed in many RV campgrounds over the years. We were immediately impressed with the view and quiet atmosphere of the campground. Yvonne, the owner and person who checked us in, was incredibly hospitable, made us feel very welcome, and has a genuine down-to-earth sense of humor. My husband and I were particularly happy to be here as the day before, we had spent the night at a place run by Mr. Grumpy. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room were exquisitely clean. Each RV site was free of any trash and all were well tended. Yvonne obviously takes pride in keeping a well organized and clean environment for her guests. We picked the site next to the cow pasture and there was no smell or noise. The cows were actually a source of entertainment if you could entice them to come over and get scratched behind their ears. This campground was worth visiting just to meet the owner, Yvonne. She was awesome. We would rate this RV park higher than 5 stars if that were an option.

Hands down the best RV park we stayed in during our 3+ months in Alaska. We enjoyed our time so much that we returned for a second visit. The grounds are very well kept and the facilities are spotless. It's clear the owners take pride in their RV park and want their guest to enjoy their stay. They are truly two of the nicest, most genuine people we met in Alaska who went above and beyond in accommodating us and providing outstanding local recommendations. The pull-through space was large with wonderful views of the mountains. It was overall a relaxing, peaceful retreat for us, a great place to recharge and catch up. We will definitely return next time we're in Alaska and are immensely grateful to our hosts for their warm kindness!

Wonderful RV Park! Coming up from the lower 48 we researched all the RV parks in the area and we are so glad we settled on this one. We spent the entire summer here while we were looking for a house. It’s very clean and safe. The location is fantastic, views are stunning, walking distance to the golf course, only a couple miles down the road from the Alaska State Fairgrounds. If you want a good long walk or bike ride you can even walk to the Matanuska River, and the cute downtown Palmer area is even closer. There is a small bush plane airport down the street so planes fly over a lot but that just added to the Alaskan charm for us. The owners are amazing and so welcoming, kind and helpful, really went above and beyond for everybody. They are very responsive and keep the park clean. We witnessed this over and over all summer long. I’ve read some of the, very few, negative comments and it all comes down to following the RV park rules which are completely reasonable (quiet times, pets on leashes, etc). The owners want everyone to have a good experience so they will enforce the rules which most RV park goers will appreciate, we...
