3 Bears is a predatory corporation masking themselves as a good down home local business. When they brought their store to Sterling they made sure to expand in a way that would hurt every single local small business in the area. Made sure they had hot pizza (magpye’s) gas, deli food and convenience (Cook’s) liquor (Bing browns) tools and hardware (sterling tool) bait and tackle (I can’t remember the name of the bait and tackle/kayak rental place but it’s there.) they could have come in without making sure to cover every aspect of the local market but they didn’t. The Ace hardware is great. I was very pleased with the customer service and the items I wanted were all available to my surprise. This hardware store is well stocked, item variety and items needed in cabin life or new builds. Better then big box hardware stores by a million aisles!
