Thursday 10-26-2023 auditorium 1 I HIGHLY encourage dressing in layers since the auditorium temperatures are sooo off. We froze in auditorium 1 here today watching the Taylor Swift Concert movie! The same auditorium that we melted in a month ago because it was so hot that we had to leave before the end of the Barbie movie!
**Please dress in layers & bring a throw blanket because it's a lot of money to spend to not enjoy your experience.
Also, keep in mind that these doors are HEAVY! We did not see a handicapped door (those you push a square button to open). *So if you are elderly, handicapped, etc., you might need assistance entering both the front doors AND the auditorium doors. The drink & snack area was cleaner than I've seen it since this place opened. The cashier wasn't nice or helpful...seemed bothered by the customers. Theater seats were cleaner than we've seen in the past. As soon as the movie stopped & credits/bloopers rolled, the next show time customers were entering!!! So, obviously no time for cleaning between movies.
⢠9-7-23 Thursday Visited here today to finally see "Barbie" & it was so extremely hot & stuffy in theater 2 that we couldn't stay for the entire movie. It was cooler outside. What a waste of time & money! A sign on the door stated "Sorry, kitchen closed today." This has the worst tasting popcorn of any movie theater I've ever visited. Why? Hoping they are cleaning the soda fountains because the only person in our party who drank from it, got severe diarrhea! *For all you parents: the family restroom has NO place to hang a diaper bag, backpack or purse! I guess they expect you to put your bags on the floor!?!? Or do like I did & use lots & lots of paper towels as a barrier because I'm not about to put a bag on a public floor anywhere, especially a restroom floor!! That is so unsanitary. You don't know if that toilet has ever overflowed & covered the floor with feces or what it's cleaned with! I mean, how much does a hook for the door or wall cost?? I recommend going to Huntsville or Birmingham to those movie theaters.
April 2023 ā¢Facility, restrooms & employees appeared clean. Comfortable seats. Good screen picture. Popcorn didn't seem fresh both times we've been here. It would be nice if they'd put a coat hanger/hook in the family restroom for purses, jackets,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChairs were comfy and relaxing, food was good, but the service was subpar. The first time we went, we got a tray to carry things, the service was excellent and we felt like this would be our main movie spot for our family. But this time we didn't get anything to help carry our stuff, staff didnt seem like they cared or wanted to be there, they seemed to rush us on ordering our snacks/food. We are a family of 4 thats two food items per person and a drink per person and it was hard to carry especially since one person ends up carrying for 3 outta 4 peoples items because my kids couldn't hold their stuff. So it's great if you're a couple going or you don't get a lot of stuff or maybe even a small family but if you're a semi big family make sure your kids can hold their items without falling. And make sure you know what you want before getting to the counter or you'll get eyerolls and grimacing faces staring back at you. We always try to treat people the way that we want to be treated. I understand it may be busy but each customer matters, each customer is paying money, so why make them feel like they are wasting your time? Maybe find a different job if customer service is not your strong suit. I don't know if my family will be back again but if we do I hope the workers realize we are people too, who have work hard just like them. some of us barely get family time if at all and to be discarded and treated bad on the one day in months we finally get to be with our family is kind of discouraging to be honest. Do better and be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExpensiveeeeeee, shockingly overpriced on everything unfortunately. 2 tickets and 2 beers cost 50 bucks! I was so excited to hear that you could buy a beer at this theater but 10 dollars a beer!!!?? Sheesh. Even the bottled beer was 8 dollars! I understand a markup but DAMN! A small popcorn was around 8 dollars so I just decided to pass on that. I just canāt see prices like that doing well long term in this area, those are VEGAS prices. As for the moviegoing experience, I was pleasantly surprised. The screen quality was great, the sound was great, the seats were comfortable. Thereās definitely nothing to complain about when it comes to the movie itself. Another thing that was kind of a letdown was the lobby itself. From the outside the theater looks incredible! But as soon as you walk into the lobby thereās no wow factor at all, itās very plain and dull. The halls with the theater rooms looks way better aesthetically thankfully. So yeah, overall Iād say the movie watching experience itself was a thumbs up, but unfortunately with the outrageous prices on drinks it feels mainly like a letdown for me. Even after I got home afterwards I wasnāt saying anything about the movie or the theater itself, all I could talk about was how much I spent for 2 beers. Iād love to see this theater succeed though, if itās possible to drop down to reasonable pricing one day I could see this place thriving. But if it remains like this long term, I canāt picture it being that successful once the new Avatar movie is gone. I hope Iām...
