This used to be a family owned amazing Chinese restaurant when I lived in the area several years ago! Unfortunately It has changed ownership. Went today and ordered Appetizers which were cream cheese and crab ragoons. They came out so hot, we couldnât even touch them for several minutes. When we finally were able to try them, the cream cheese was liquified and scalding hot. They were so sweet, it tasted like it might be a dessert. Then for my entree, I ordered my favorite item for my mother and I: Happy Family(beef, chicken, shrimp, rice). When I started chewing it, it had no distinct flavor and had a consistency as of it had been cooked in a microwave. I tried a couple of other bites and tastes a burnt taste you could almost smell. It had the aftertaste of burnt popcorn. We couldnât eat it. I advised the server who didnât seem to speak English (no server seemed to speak or understand English) and the manger came to the table. I explained it to him and he asked if I wanted it recooked. I said no. He offered no apology and just walked off leaving the food on the table. The host came to the table and did basically the same, just walked off. I told her it would be nice if they would remove the food. She said âYou couldâve asked for it to be removed.â She gave me the check and I had to ask if my plate was removed from the ticket. She said mine was. My mother had eaten about 5 bites more than me but they still charged us for the rest even though the vast majority of the food was still on the table. When I paid, I asked if they used a microwave to which she said ânoâ. As I said Ed the receipt, I told her it wouldâve been proper for at least someone to apologize for the food. She just stared at me. I said âno apology? Just a stare?â She looked past me and said âHave a good dayâ. I will NEVER go back. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. Hot and sour soup, presented and tasted like a broth rather than soup. I was lucky to find 1 tofu on 2 bowls. Small meat bun appetizer, supposed to be served on small bamboo steamers, not plate. Schezuan pork, wrong slice for presentation, loaded with onions finely sliced. No bamboo shots, pepper for color and taste. Not presented the Schezuan dish should be presented. Happy family, missing ingredients. Consistency and taste of the sauce, wrong again. Soy sauce needs to be less. Presentation of a proper hostess needs major improvement in attitude. Cleaning tables for next guests at all times should be address. Asking if customers needs anything is good but an offer and getting your beverages filled never happened. I planned to take home what I could not finish eating but actually thought hard and decided not to, the last minute. No offer of a take away box from anyone. If, I know the food I was planning to take home was not to my liking, why take it home? This is one of the times I wasted food.    Read moreWe ordered some food from Asian Garden to go pick up. We got their the lady asked for my phone number and I told her it. she proceeded to get the bag and hand it to me and rang me out. The whole time she was on the main line phone and paging back and forth with the kitchen. Laughing and playing I got home and opened the food and it was completely wrong order so I called them to let them know what happened to see if I could replace my order the lady that answered said yes she realizes I got the wrong order but it was my fault because I gave her the wrong phone number. I gave her my phone number she said if it wasnât my order then I shouldnât have taken it. And I should have made sure the number was right before I left. She took the ticket off the bag and asked what my number was and I told her my number and she handed me the bag Their was no way for me to verify without opening every box right their in line and I shouldnât have to do that. Then when I called she rude enough to say itâs my fault that if I wanted the right order I should have verified.
